Paragraph

Body text with a readable measure, plus lead and small variants.

A lead paragraph introduces the page in slightly larger, softer text.

Body text is capped at a 40em measure — about 80 characters — so lines stay readable. The sans-serif face and 1.65 line height are tuned for long-form civic content — meeting minutes, bylaws, notices.

Small text never drops below 0.85rem.
